From now on, people buying and selling the Prepaid Chipknip cards issued by InterEGI can use this updated InterEGI website. The site has been fully adapted to InterEGI's new house style, and visitors can now easily find all the information they need about the services provided by InterEGI. Besides the new design, we have also updated the content and navigation on the website to make the site even more user-friendly. The website will be developed even more in the time to come.

Interpay Elektronisch Geldinstelling B.V, or InterEGI for short, is a 100% subsidiary of Interpay Nederland B.V. InterEGI is the first non-banking institution in the Netherlands authorized by The Dutch Central Bank to issue electronic payment methods for a fee. At the moment, InterEGI is the only company in the Netherlands issuing Prepaid Chipknip, a variant of the regular Chipknip that can be pre-charged with a cash balance.

Prepaid Chipknip is an extra product in a payment environment in which customers can pay only with Chipknip. Until recently, people wanting to buy and sell Prepaid Chipknip could visit www.Prepaid Chipknip.nl for more information. From now on, however, it is not possible to place Prepaid Chipknip orders through the Prepaid Chipknip.nl website. This can only be done through the InterEGI website, but the ordering procedure is still the same.

Since the establishment of Currence, Prepaid Chipknip.nl has been under Currence's management. Currence owns the collective payment products PIN and Chipknip and is the issuer of licences and certificates to market parties and parties joining the market for national payment products, such as Chipknip.
