Can I redeposit the credit balance and having it transferred to my bank or giro account? 
If you do not want to make any more payments with your Prepaid Chipknip, you can redeposit your credit balance and have it transferred to a Dutch bank or giro account. This is only possible when there is at least € 5 still remaining on your Prepaid Chipknip. Simply fill in the reply form and send it to us, together with the Prepaid Chipknip card. Remember, we will not handle your request if the Prepaid Chipknip card is not included. A fee of   € 1.50 is charged for redepositing your credit balance. This amount will be deducted from the credit balance left on your card. 
We will redeposit the balance and transfer it to your account within a month of receiving your request. Please note that your Prepaid Chipknip is mailed at your own risk.

My Prepaid Chipknip is not working properly. What do I do? 
If several different point-of-sale terminals refuse to accept your Prepaid Chipknip, or if various attempts to pay with the card have been unsuccessful, it means that your Prepaid Chipknip is probably defective. In that case, complete the reply form and send it together with the Prepaid Chipknip to Prepaid Chipknip Consumer Services. Remember that we will not handle any requests that do not include your Prepaid Chipknip card. 
We will redeposit the credit balance and transfer it to your account within a month of receiving your request. Please note that your Prepaid Chipknip is mailed at your own risk.

What do I do when my card is empty? 
Prepaid Chipknip cannot be recharged. When it is empty, you can not top-up your credit balance. Simply throw the card away or send it back with a reply form. Your card will then be disposed of in an eco-friendly manner.

I can’t pay with my Prepaid Chipknip. What do I do? 
Please check whether your credit balance is sufficient to make payments. To do so, press the ‘?’ button at charging terminals or point-of-sale terminals. If your balance is not sufficient, the payment will be refused. If several point-of-sale terminals refuse to accept your Prepaid Chipknip, or if several attemps to pay prove unsuccessful, this could mean your card is not working properly. In that case, simply fill in the reply form and send it to Equens, together with the Prepaid Chipknip.

Where can I buy a Prepaid Chipknip? 
You can buy Prepaid Chipknip at numerous sales outlets, usually to be found in the immediate vicinity of any location where Chipknip is the only accepted method of payment. Simpy inquire where the nearest sales outlet is. It may be a reception desk of a company or institution, or a shop, Tourist Information Board or hotel. There are also card vending machines from which you can buy the Prepaid Chipknip. Sales outlets can be recognised by special Prepaid Chipknip promotional materials such as posters and stickers.
